The Code Six Customs Story
I am a retired Correctional Police Lieutenant / Gang Investigator with 28 years of service.
Over the years, I've grown to truly appreciate the beauty of the high-end Swiss watches in my collection. When I retired, that love of watches developed into a drive to design and build my own.
In my jail, a call for a "Code 6" elicited a super rush of adrenaline. It was called any time an Officer was in eminent danger. It could be that an Officer was assaulted, had to go hands-on with a combative inmate, or saw a disturbance or riot developing. "Code 6" meant all available Officers immediately dropped what they were doing, and responded to the area, running straight into the danger. Time was always of the essence in a Code 6.
While some retirees may want to forget the hundreds of Code 6's in their careers, I view those memories with great passion. It is with that passion that I named my watch brand "Code Six Customs".
Every Code 6 was different...and every Code Six Customs watch is different. My designs pay homage to designs that speak to me as a collector.
